Calls for service surpassed the 200 mark in the Dryden Police Service’s weekly update.
It was a busy week with officers responding to 206 calls from May 31 to June 6.
However, just 10 charges were laid under the Highway Traffic Act and Criminal Code.
Some of the calls Dryden Police attended include:
• Property Crime – 5
• Crime against Person – 7
• Police Assist/Assist Public – 41
• Mental Health Act – 18
• Liquor Licence Act – 13
• Traffic Complaints/Enforcement/MVC – 10
• Foot Patrol/Property checks – 16
• Other – 96
The week before there were 193 calls for service and 21 charge laid.
