Calls for traffic complaints and motor vehicle collisions were back up for Dryden and Ignace OPP last week.
Police responded to 150 calls for service from May 31 to June 6 and laid 46 charges under the Highway Traffic Act and Criminal Code.
Some of the calls Police attended were:
- Traffic Complaints – 18
- Police Assistance – 11
- Assist Other Police Agency – 5
- RIDE- 3
- Fire – 6
- Domestic Incident – 3
- Motor Vehicle Collison – 11
- Trespass to Property Act- 2
- Animal Compliant – 3
The week before there were 121 calls for service and 36 charges laid.
OPP remind residents that rather than having an officer attend a call, you can report non-urgent or minor crimes online at opp.ca.
