There’s just something awesome about thunderstorms! For some, the light rumble of thunder in the distance is calming and peaceful. Almost like Mother Nature herself is taking a deep breath after a long hot, humid day! Saturday night was a different story though…

As you can hear in the video – I was pretty surprised by how active the lightning was and how CLOSE that thunder felt! Truthfully, I used to be super scared of thunderstorms as a child! But now? I love them!
Something about getting outside and watching the magic happen is extremely exciting, but also humbling. To witness the true power of nature…
