The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting no new cases of COVID-19 within their catchment area Monday morning.
Monday marks the fifth time during the month of May that no new cases were reported.
The NWHU says there are currently 12 active cases of the novel coronavirus, down from the 21 active cases reported on Sunday.
There are no more active cases in the Dryden Health Hub and only two in the Sioux Lookout district.
The Thunder Bay District has seen an uptick in cases with 17 new ones the past two days.
The numbers in Ontario are at the lowest level they’ve been since February 17.
There were 916 new cases today and 13 COVID-related deaths.
