A COVID warning has been issued by the Northwestern Health Unit.
Anyone who worked at the Mary River Mine Site at Baffinland Iron Mines in Nunavut between April 15 and May 27 may be at risk for the virus.
Local officials say there are a handful of people from our region that work there.
Mine employees and contractors now back home are asked to immediately self-isolate and phone the health unit at 807-223-3301 ext. 302578.
The health unit is reporting two new cases Sunday.
One is in the Sioux Lookout Health Hub and the other came from the Kenora area.
Ontario recorded 1,033 and 18 COVID-related deaths.
