Drug enforcement remains a top priority for the Lac Seul Police Service right now.
Wednesday night just before 11:00, officers stopped a suspicious vehicle on Highway 664 near Hudson.
Police found two people in possession of Crystal Meth and Morphine.
Officers also found pepper-spray and drug paraphernalia.
An investigation also determined the driver wasn’t allowed to drive in Canada, so the vehicle was impounded for 45-days under provincial law.
Police say 41 year old Chadwick Atwood and 23 year old Kaitlyn Kashton were both arrested and face several charges.
Officials with the Lac Seul Police Service report this was the second drug arrest in the past week and stress Crystal Meth is on the rise and having a devastating effect in communities across Northwestern Ontario.
