The Ear Falls Eacom Sawmill has been evacuated due to a forest fire.
Mayor Kevin Kahoot tells CKDR a fire near the mill that was thought to be out Monday has flared up again and Sawmill Road is now closed.
A Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry helicopter is on site with a crew on their way.
Officials say there is no threat to public safety at this time.
The MNRF confirm Red Lake 15 is about six kilometres south of Ear Falls listed at 5.0 hectares and not under control.
The fire hazard is mostly high in the Kenora, Red Lake, Fort Frances and Dryden sectors.
