Cat Lake First Nation is sad to announce the sudden passing of Evan Loyal Maio Wesley at age 13 years old in Dryden, Ontario on May 19, 2021.
Evan leaves his father Eli Keeash, mother Gayle Wesley, brothers; Ethan Wesley-Anderson, Mason Napish Keeash, Emery Wesley, Elijah Keeash, sisters; Hope Wesley and Kellie Quill of Keewaywin First Nation.
Niece; Penelope and nephews; Robert and Rupert Jr.
Grandma Caroline Keeash, aunts; Veronica, Dorothy, Denise (Micheal) Rosalie Quequish.
Grandma Christina Peters, aunts; Patricia Wesley, Marjorie Wesley, Bella Wesley (Late Ernie Wesley) Uncles; Norman Wesley, Hartley Wesley, Harvey Wesley, Dwayne Wesley, Randy Wesley, Vincent Wesley, Dino Wesley and Uncle Miuel Sakakeesic.
Uncles; Clifford Keeash, Berie Quequish, Donald Q, Macintosh Q and Jim Q
He also leaves behind numerous cousins, grandparents, uncles and aunts in Cat Lake and Round Lake.
Evan is predeceased by his Grandfather Steven Keeash, Auntie Samanus Grace Keeash, Cousin Stephanie Keeash, Cousin David Winter Jr., Grandfather Lawrence Wesley, Uncle Erie Wesley, Uncle Orval Wesley, Uncle Duncan Wesley and Uncle Clarence Wesley.
Wake will be held Tuesday May 25, 2021 in the Moffat Chapel of Stevens Funeral Homes.
Wake Service in Cat Lake will begin Wednesday May 26, 2021 at the St. John’s Anglican Church.
Funeral Service will be held in Cat Lake Thursday May 27, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow in the Cat Lake Cemetery.
