The Municipality of Sioux Lookout has joined other local communities to reopen outside facilities.
Soccer fields, the golf course, tennis courts, basketball courts, bike and skate parks and bocce courts are now available for public use.
A reminder groups can’t exceed five people and physical distancing must be followed.
The following facilities remain closed to the public:
– Municipal Office
-Recreation Centre and Gymnasium (except for vaccination clinics)
-Works Garage
-Fire Hall
-Airport Administration Building
Municipal officials say staff are working to ensure essential services continue with minimal interruptions and phone lines are being monitored with efforts to return calls quickly.
