Patio season is already considered short and sweet in Sunset Country, and with no places open for dine-in, you’re basically down to just one option: do it at home.
At least, that’s what we thought!
There’s a couple in Toronto who were determined to find a way to enjoy the patio, without actually going to one! Making headlines for their creative approach, Jacob Leo and his girlfriend Lotte van Gelderen may have found the perfect work-around!
Meeting online and trying to plan a date, the two found it difficult to date with all of the rules and restrictions. That’s why they decided to take matters into their own hands, by bringing the patio with them wherever they go!
All it took was a truck, a table, two chairs, and the right amount of determination!
Leo told blogTO it’s been “an alternative way to get out and actually do something” and “just a fun idea that we ended up enjoying quite a bit, so we kept it up as a good way to get out of the house and support our favourite restaurants.”
You have to admit, it’s genius!
