The Northwestern Health is reporting six new COVID positives Tuesday.
Four come from the Sioux Lookout district while two are in the Dryden area.
There are 30 active cases for a second straight day; 18 near Sioux Lookout, nine in the Dryden hub, two in the Kenora area and one near Fort Frances.
As it stands now, 38,318 doses of vaccine have been administered by the regional health authority.
Those doses equate to 54% of the population 18 and over and 38% of the entire population.
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit recorded just one new case but there was one COVID-related death.
The number of active cases is down to 25.
Across Ontario, the numbers are below 2,000 for the first time since late March, at 1,616.
There were 17 deaths.
