A drop in COVID-19 numbers across the province.
The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting 30 active cases, down from 53 on the weekend.
Eighteen are in the Sioux Lookout region, seven are in the Dryden hub, three in the Kenora area and two near Fort Frances.
The number of hospitalizations is also down from three to two.
The test positivity rate was 2.75% from May 3 to the 9 and went way down to 1.38% between May 10 and 16.
There was one new recorded case Monday and that’s in the Sioux Lookout district.
The Thunder Bay area is down to 29 actives with 3 new positives.
The Ontario count is 2,170 new cases.
The province also had 4 COVID-related deaths, the lowest number since March.
