The Northwestern Health Unit has declared a COVID-19 workplace outbreak at Dryden’s KFC.
An outbreak is declared when there’s at least two positive results.
Health officials say there appears to be no additional risk to customers of the restaurant.
The workplace is following outbreak control measures as instructed by the NWHU and case and contact management is also underway.
Close contacts have been notified by the health unit and told to self-isolate.
The health unit reminds all employees, of every workplace, must complete a daily COVID-19 screening and follow given instructions.
Anyone who has even one symptom of COVID-19 should immediately self-isolate, not attend work, and get tested for the virus.
