The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting six new cases of COVID-19 within their catchment area Thursday morning.
Four of the new cases come from the Sioux Lookout area, while there is one new case each in the Dryden and Kenora health hubs.
With the new cases, the regional health authority tells us that there are currently 49 active cases within their catchment area, up from the 47 active cases reported on Wednesday.
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit recorded six new cases with an active count of 36.
Ontario registered 2,759 cases and reports 31 COVID related deaths.
