Provincial Police are reminding residents to take public health measures seriously.
This comes after officers were forced to charge an Atikokan man with failing to comply with an order made during a declared emergency.

Police spotted a man who was previously warned for not abiding by the current stay-at-home order.
OPP say 60 year old James Niro received a fine of $880 as a result.
Police stress the legislation is in place to slow the spread of COVID-19 and protect the public by mitigating risk of exposure.
