The month of April was a relatively pleasant one in the Dryden area.
Bill Laidlaw of Signal Weather Services says the average temperature for the month was +3, very close to the normal of +2.9.
He notes temperatures fluctuated widely over very short intervals.
The warmest day was the 28 when we reached +18.1, while the coldest was April 1 with a low of -12.2.
Laidlaw adds total precipitation was 56.5 millimetres, which is 150% of normal.
He says over half of that fell on the 11 and 12, with a two day total of 29.8 millimetres.
