A preliminary trial is set to begin Monday in Dryden for the man accused in the March 2, 2020 murders of two elderly people at the Arbour Jade Trailer Park.
Justin Wayne Desautels faces multiple charges including two counts of second degree murder and attempted murder.
Ten days have been scheduled for the hearing.
There is a publication ban in place.
Desautels faces charges of:
-two counts of second degree murder
-two counts of robbery
-one count of attempted murder
-one count of resisting arrest
-one count of assaulting police
-one count of causing bodily harm to police
-one count of trying to take a weapon from police
-one count of possessing crystal meth
These charges haven’t been proven in court.
