The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting 13 new cases of COVID-19.
The Sioux Lookout Health Hub adds six new cases, four in the Fort Frances region and the Kenora area records three positive test results.
Active cases are not updated by the health unit on weekends.
Follow up has started and anyone who is identified as a contact for these cases will be notified directly.
As for the Thunder Bay District Health Unit, there are seven new cases of COVID-19 bringing their district to 57 actives cases,
Thunder Bay Health Officials also confirm five more of the active cases have been identified as variants of concern.
Provincially, Ontario is reporting 3,369 new cases, and has now administered 5,247,684 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
