The City’s Fire Chief has handed in his resignation.
Chief Kent Readman’s resignation is effective June 7, as he leaves Dryden to accept a Fire Chief position with the City of Kenora.
“Chief Readman’s leadership, dedication and hard work has helped the continued development of the City’s municipal fire service. He has been a great asset to our municipal team and while we are saddened to see Kent leaving us, we respect his decision and wish him and his family the very best in his future endeavors”, said the City’s Chief Administrative Officer, Roger Nesbitt.
Deputy Fire Chief Erik Campbell will take over the interim role as Dryden’s Fire Chief during the recruitment process.
