Municipal leaders from across the region will meet virtually this week to discuss regional issues of concern.
The Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association Conference begins Wednesday.
Topics up for discussion over the next three days include employing new immigrants, housing, reconciliation, healthcare and transportation options in the north.
Premier Doug Ford will deliver the opening Keynote address at 11:00 am and will be followed by NDP Leader Andrea Horwath and Liberal Leader Steven Del Duca.
Hydro One spokesperson Jason Fitzsimmons will finish the first day with a presentation on growth opportunities in the district.
The highlight is Friday with the Ministers Forum.
Delegates will have the opportunity to question ten provincial ministers, including Greg Rickford, who is in charge of Energy, Northern Development and Mines and Indigenous Affairs.
