Eagle River does it again!!
The residents of Eagle River continue to brighten up the entrance area to the community. Thanks to Connie Calvert for the pictures and description below;
“We have once again come together to enrich our community regardless of the tightened COVID restrictions and create this Spring/Summer diorama.
Bob the builder brought it together with vision and creativity. A birdhouse village on the horizon, white caps and a boat riding the waves, seeking to catch something from a display of fish; completing the scene with a bouquet of hand painted wooden blooms.
The painting pixies, Carm and Connie completed their tasks with bright colours and amateur artistic paint brush strokes. Warren and Barb fabricated and contributed two enthusiastic fishers. Debbie donated a pail of bright flowers enhancing the hand painted bouquet.
Our group painting parties and planning get togethers had to be postponed but we are a resilient community and managed to prevail. The best part of sharing our time, materials and various talents? Happy smiles, positive comments and seeing the kids enjoying the brightened park. Our spirit prevails!”
