A COVID workplace outbreak has been declared at McMunn & Yates in Fort Frances.
That means there are at least two positive cases at the business.
The Northwestern Heath Unit says they can’t rule out that transmissions happened in the workplace, and there is a chance that others in the workplace may have been exposed.
Seven cases of COVID-19 were reported in the Fort Frances Health Hub Saturday.
All individuals who had high-risk exposure are being contacted and given specific instructions.
Though the risk to the public remains low, anyone who shopped at McMunn & Yates in Fort Frances between April 17 and April 22 who has developed cold or flu-like symptoms may have been infected without knowing it.
Those individuals must get tested and self-isolate until a negative test is produced.
