Pacton Gold has completed its winter drill programs in the Red Lake area.
Core samples from both the Sidace and Red Lake gold projects have been submitted to the lab for analysis and assays are pending.
The Vancouver-based company is now planning a comprehensive follow up exploration program for the next two quarters of the year.
At the Sidace site, a total of 18 holes covering 11,575 metres were drilled and very preliminary results showed high-grade and widespread mineralization.
Following the return of assay results, Pacton will prioritize the next round of drill targets to be tested during the next phase of exploration.
The company has partnered with Evolution Mining on the project.
The Red Lake project finished with 8,919 metres drilled in 24 holes.
Pacton will now begin an extensive summer surface exploration campaign.
Following the return of assay results, the company will complete the evaluation of drill hole geology, together with results from the upcoming summer surface program to refine drill targets for a follow up drilling campaign anticipated to begin in Fall 2021.
