Starting May 1st, the City of Dryden will be enforcing the Parking By-law in the downtown core.
In addition to general parking enforcement, the City says regular downtown patrols will begin May 3rd to ensure timely usage and movement of vehicles both on-street and in the designated paid parking lots.
On-street parking in the downtown core is allowed for a maximum of two hours at no charge Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The City of Dryden also offers four designated paid parking lots for public use on King Street, Queen Street, along the north side of Queen Street and on Earl Avenue.
A map of the downtown core parking can be viewed here and a valid permit is required to park in City parking lots.
Accessible parking stalls are also available in the paid parking lots and in various locations in the downtown core.
When using an accessible stall on-street, at no charge for a maximum of two hours Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. or in a designated parking lot, will require the display of an Ontario Accessible Parking Permit.
A Municipal parking lot permit is also required to park in an accessible stall in any Municipal lot.
Daily, monthly or annual Parking Permits can be purchased online or in person at City Hall 30 Van Horne Avenue Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Fees for Parking Permits are as follows and must be paid in advance of parking in the designated parking lots:
