Nothing but praise for volunteers involved in the COVID vaccination program at the Dryden Memorial Arena.
Council members took time this past week to acknowledge everyone involved in the rollout.
Shayne MacKinnon stated, “I had the pleasure of volunteering at two vaccination clinics and I just want to extend my thanks to the Northwest Health Unit staff, EMS staff, retired medical folks, and various individuals who volunteered.”
He says Arena staff have rose to the occasion to provide needed assistance.
MacKinnon notes, “A bulk of the volunteering was done by Dryden Rotary Club and I want to thank those members for stepping once again.”
He adds, “I hope we can get ahead of COVID by being vigilant and all getting vaccines when it’s our turn.”
John Carlucci says, “Very well run. Very well organized. If you can get the vaccine please get it. We can try to get some normalcy here sooner rather then later. So again, good job on the clinic. ”
He stresses our community depends on it.
Martin MacKinnon echoed those comments stating, “Think of your fellow community residents and not just yourself please. This is a time when if we’re going to stamp out this pandemic, we all got to participate in it. It’s important.”
