The RCMP in Manitoba have managed to disrupt a major international drug trafficking network that runs cocaine and other drugs from Ontario into Manitoba.
On Monday, police seized 81 kilograms of cocaine along with 1.5 million dollars in cash.
The street value of the drugs is roughly 7.6 million dollars.
Police believe it is the largest coke bust in the province’s history.
The Mounties say 41 year old Stephen Ferenc Stumpf of Peterborough has been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime over five thousand dollars.
Police dubbed the campaign ‘Project Drone’.
