Hydro One Submission
Wind gusts of about 60 kilometres an hour have wreaked havoc on Hydro One systems across the region.
There are multiple power outages reported this morning.
Some 573 customers in the Vermilion Bay area are in the dark and crews are working in the area with hopes of getting the power back on at noon.
Outages in Dryden are almost resolved.
There are still about 20 customers in the Park Crescent area.
Hydro One says the power could be out until 2:00pm
The outage in the Frenchman’s Head area has been fixed.
There are also several outages between Vermilion Bay and Ear Falls and west of Vermilion Bay.
