Provincial Police have upgraded the charges against the accused involved in a serious assault in downtown Fort Frances last Saturday morning.
OPP say 30 year old Gabriel Tuesday of Big Grassy First Nation has now been charged with attempted murder.
Tuesday was originally facing counts of aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
He remains in custody.
One person was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries as a result of the incident.
No update has been provided on the condition of the victim.
