The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting seven new confirmed cases of COVID-19 Thursday.
Four of the new cases are in the Sioux Lookout area, two are in the Kenora region and one is in the Dryden area.
The number of active cases in the NWHU catchment area now sits at 48, which is up two from Wednesday.
7,299 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have now been administered across the region, up from 6,782 on Wednesday.
The test positivity rate information still shows as 0.81 per-cent, though that number has not been updated since March 23rd.
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit added 33 new cases to their count today which brings the total active cases to 283. They also added one new death.
In Ontario as a whole, there were 2,380 new cases reported as well as 17 deaths.
