Today marks the third day in a row of double digit COVID-19 cases in the region.
The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting 15 new positive test results.
10 are in the Kenora Health Hub area and the Sioux Lookout Health Hub area adds five.
Follow up with the persons involved and their contacts has started and anyone who is identified as a contact for these cases will be notified directly.
The health unit does not update the active case count on weekends.
Meanwhile the Thunder Bay District reports 32 new COVID-19 infections and 52 more resolved cases, putting the district at 379 active cases.
The province confirms more than 18 hundred new cases for the first time in more than a month.
