Spring is just around the corner and so is Dryden GM’s Spring Food Drive.
The food drive is on March 23 this year and supports the Dryden Food Bank just ahead of the Easter holiday.
Dani Rousseau with Beyak Automotive Group talks about the success of the first drive.
“Last year the food drive did extremely well, we had over 55 donations. So we’re hoping with the support of the community we can meet if not exceed that amount again this year.”
The first Spring food drive was launched around this time last year right when COVID hit, in order to support the Dryden Food Bank, the individuals and families they serve.
“Their (the food bank’s) commitment of their volunteers is amazing, it definitely doesn’t go unnoticed and we’re very thankful for them,” Rousseau said. “We wouldn’t even be able to work with the food bank at all if it wasn’t for the continued support we receive from the community at Dryden GM. We’re thankful to have the opportunity to give back and be a partner with the Dryden Food Bank.”
If you are a business or individual with a non perishable food donation, you can email dani@beyakautogroup.com or call Dryden GM to arrange pick up or drop off ahead of March 23.
