The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting six new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday.
Three come from the Kenora region, two positive test results are listed in the Sioux Lookout district, while one is being recorded in the Rainy River area.
Follow up with the persons involved and their contacts has started and anyone who is identified will be notified directly.
The Tuesday Health Hub report, which breaks down cases by community hubs, was not released at the time this story was written.
There are 58 new COVID-19 cases and two more deaths from the virus in the Thunder Bay District.
Their Health Unit reports 458 active cases, and 35 people have passed away since the start of the pandemic.
Another 60 people are no longer testing positive, and seven people are no longer being treated at the Regional Hospital.
The Regional Hospital is treating 44 people for COVID-19, down from its all-time high earlier this week.
Out of those patients, the hospital reports 13 people are in the Intensive Care Unit.
Ontario is reporting 1,185 cases and six COVID related deaths today.
