After a year hiatus due to COVID-19, the Rotary Club of Dryden’s second largest fundraiser is back.
Coordinator Brian Braid says the annual Internet auction is coming together well and they’ll be lots of great items to bid on.
“We have a substantial amount of donations, a lot of them of course from last year cause we had to cancel the 2020 auction cause of COVID, so we just held on to those items. We’ve picked up more this spring as some of merchants have heard the auction was coming back. The community merchants have been very generous including this year and last year, we’re in good shape that way. We’ll have the auction sit up soon, we’ve been loading gup some of the items on Facebook and the CKDR site for people to have a look at.”
Everything from gift cards to in kind donations from local merchants go live for bidding March 23.
Braid adds they’re still accepting donations from businesses and individuals.
