COVID case counts continue to intensify in the Thunder Bay area.
With a record 61 cases on Thursday Health Minister Patty Hajdu admits it is “really concerning.”
“These are high numbers we sometimes don’t even see these high numbers in larger cities,” explains Hajdu who notes it can result in more deaths and added stress on the Intensive Care Unit at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
The Liberal MP adds it remains critical we limit how much time we spend outside of our homes and agrees it is a tough situation especially for those who do obey the rules.
