The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting more COVID-19 cases in the Kenora and Sioux Lookout regions.
There is one new positive test result in the Kenora region and four new positive test results are the Sioux Lookout region.
Follow up with the people involved and their contacts has started and anyone who is identified as a contact for these cases will be notified directly.
Over the weekend there were 16 COVID-19 cases reported in the Kenora region, nine in the Sioux Lookout region and two in the Rainy River District.
This comes as a COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at Rainycrest Long Term Care Home in Fort Frances, with two staff testing positive for the virus.

Meanwhile the Thunder Bay District Health Unit is reporting 56 new cases today with a total of 376 active cases.
There are also three more cases in the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre bringing the number in the hospital to 29 with nine in the Intensive Care Unit.
Ontario reported 1,023 cases and and six more virus-related deaths, the lowest single-day death toll reported since late October.
