The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting two new positive tests of COVID-19 Friday.
One comes from the Kenora region and the other is from the District of Rainy River.
Follow up with the persons involved and their contacts has started and anyone identified will be notified directly.
In addition, one case from the Kenora area has been removed from the data as it’s no longer considered a positive case.
Meanwhile the coronavirus has now claimed 30 lives in the Thunder Bay District, with another death reported today.
The Health Unit also reports 60 new cases and another five people are now being treated for COVID-19 at the Regional Hospital.
There are currently 350 active cases with 22 patients in the COVID-19 ward with as many as five in the Intensive Care Unit.
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is reporting 60 new cases today and 349 active cases in total.
Ontario recorded 1,258 cases and 28 more deaths.
