The Northwestern Health Unit has surpassed 100 active cases of COVID-19 for the first time.
Nineteen new positive tests were recorded Friday in the Kenora region.
Local health officials don’t disclose the exact location of the infections.
That brings the total caseload to 107, with 101 in the Kenora area.
One case is considered resolved in the Rainy River district.
The total number of recorded cases from the start of the pandemic now stands at 397.
Ontario is reporting 1,150 cases and 47 deaths.
