Response to the potential renaming of Colonization Avenue in Dryden has been well received.
Shayne MacKinnon provided Council with an update this past week.
“The Working Circle is very encouraged with, as I’ve been told, nearly 400 submissions online to rename Colonization Avenue. Of course some of those are duplicates.”
He adds, “The vast majority of those submissions are very respectful and positive. March 13 is the deadline for submissions and certainly anyone can go on www.dryden.ca and follow the link to the Working Circle page.”
MacKinnon says he encourages people to do that and become involved in a change in our community.
