It is with heavy hearts that the family announces that Lena Kuka (Tordon), age 91, passed away peacefully, at her residence, Princess Court Long Term Care Facility, in Dryden, on Monday, February 1, 2021.
Lena was predeceased by her husband, William (Bill), her son Daniel, her grandson, Jason Ovenstone and her 10 siblings. Surviving are her children, Gail Pencoff, Randy (Teresa) Kuka and Marlene (Bill) Ovenstone. Grandchildren Bill Pencoff, Stephanie Landon, Ryan Kuka, Rae-Lyn Kuka and Adam (Dani) Kuka. Great grandchildren Kai, Kiandra, Da’Naiyah, Kairhys and Nazryn. Rae-Lyn’s children called her “Candy Gramma”.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
The family would like to say special thanks to Dr. Cortens, all the nurses, PSWs, the staff and management at Princess Court for the incredible care provided during her residency there. We could not have asked for a better place for Mom to spend her last few years.
