It’s a new online fundraising platform that’s been set up with the help of the provincial office.
Fund development coordinator Shyler Hendrickson says people are asked to register through Jointhequeset.ca to help raise money for the district agency.
“Once you do that you can set a personal fundraising goal and then you’ll be taken to your personal fundraising page and you’ll get a link URL and you can share that link URL where-ever you want,” explains Hendrickson.
Hendrickson says that link allows others to make a donation through your page,
He says it was set up to offset their inability to hold their usual events.
The site will remain up all month but could be more permanent depending on its success.
