The Ontario government has launched 2021 Budget consultations.
The focus shifts this year to COVID-19 recovery plans.
Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade Vic Fedeli says they want to hear from municipalities, individuals and businesses.
“What do you need from the provincial government to make you even more successful? That’s what we want to hear from them.”
Fedeli adds “How can we help you? What pieces of red tape can we continue to reduce for you to help you hire more employees and grow your business? What do you need from the provincial government?”
There will be no in-person sessions and everything will be done online, by email or mail, or through a series of virtual consultations across Ontario.
Input will be accepted until February 12.
The 2021 Budget will be delivered by March 31.
