Another area school has been impacted by COVID-19 exposure.
A positive case is being reported at King George Elementary School in Kenora.
All contacts of the case are being called and given instructions by health officials.
The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board is working with the Northwestern Health Unit to make sure all potential risks are minimized.
The school remains open and all staff and students who were not contacted are deemed to be at no additional risk and can continue to attend classes as usual.
Six new cases were reported in the region Thursday.
Two classes at Dryden High School remain closed due to possible exposure to COVID-19 and one class at Fort Frances High School is closed after a student tested positive.
