We remain in the deep freeze as an Extreme Wind Chill Warning remains in place across the northwest.
A cold arctic airmass will continue to provide frigid conditions with temperatures Wednesday night dropping into the minus thirties.
These temperatures combined with strong winds will result in wind chill values near minus 40 overnight and Thursday morning.
You are asked to watch for cold related symptoms including shortness of breath, chest pain, muscle pain and weakness, numbness and colour change in fingers and toes.
Dress warmly and dress in layers that you can remove if you get too warm.
The outer layer should be wind resistant.
It’s expected to warm up a bit tomorrow afternoon with a high of minus 17.
The winds will be pick up again overnight and into Friday but forecasters are calling for a high of minus 10 in the afternoon.
Saturday and Sunday will warm up with lows of minus 11 and highs of minus 5.
