Two Manitobans have been arrested and charged following a traffic stop in Dryden.
Around 2 p.m. Friday January 22, members of the Dryden OPP stopped a commercial vehicle on Grand Trunk Avenue for a Highway Traffic Act violation.
Upon further investigation, officers found a bulk amount of Canadian cash and drugs.
51 year old Michael Sigurdon of St. Adolphe, Manitoba and 22 year old Brooklyn Gatlin of Winnipeg, Manitoba have been arrested and charged with:
- Possession of Cocaine
- Possession for the purpose of Trafficking
- Laundering Proceeds of Crime – did use – commission in Canada
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
- Trafficking in Property Obtained by Crime
Sigurdon and Gatlin are both being held in custody and are scheduled to appear in Dryden Bail Court.
