Some added duties for Ignace Mayor Penny Lucas.
She has been elected Vice-Chair of the Kenora District Services Board.
Officials say Lucas will bring a valuable perspective as KDSB continues to execute its organization’s planning and implementation.
She replaces Mark Sobchuk.
Unincorporated representative, Barry Baltessen, is back as Chair.
The KDSB says through his ongoing experience with KDSB’s Board, Baltessen will continue to provide strong leadership, knowledge of their strategy, and skillset in Board governance.
