Canada’s military will fight COVID-19 in northern Ontario.
A variety of tweets from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, as well as Ministers of Defense Harjit Sajjan and Public Safety Minister Bill Blair, show the government is answering calls from the provincial government to get vaccines to 32 First Nation communities.
It was just a few days ago when the military was also sent to help some northern Manitoba First Nations.
Our government will always be there to support the fight against #COVID19. We have approved a request for assistance from @ONGov for @CanadianForces to support vaccine distribution in 32 communities of the Nishnawbe Aski Nation.
