Only in Northwestern Ontario… does a small airline garner national attention for their love of Dodge Neon’s. Yes, you read that right. If you’ve ever waited for a flight in Thunder Bay or Sioux Lookout – you may have noticed the little white cars with the roof chopped off.
Taking pointers from a Red Green episode, Bearskin Airlines has been transporting luggage with some prime Canadian engineering. Why buy fancy hardware when roofless Dodge Neon’s can get the job done just as well? While the online car community might be having a laugh, there might be some merit to this creative approach!
Known for transmission problems, the Neon’s worked well for sourcing out parts – making downtime basically non-existent.
This is the epitome of Canadian engineering!
