A heartbreaking loss for the families of two Southbridge Roseview residents.
The Thunder Bay long-term care home reports that a 22nd and 23rd resident have now passed away from COVID-19 complications.
There has also been a jump of 14 new COVID-19 cases in the Thunder Bay District.
Ten of those are in Thunder Bay and the surrounding area, and the rest are in other communities in the district.
There are now 89 active cases in the district, with four cases now considered resolved and two people are no longer in the hospital for COVID-19 symptoms.
Provincially, Ontario is reporting 3,056 cases and 51 deaths.
