Several local municipalities are set to receive some money through the provincial Gas Tax program.
The money is aimed at improving public transit and handi-transit services.
The funding can be used to extend service hours, buy transit vehicles, add routes, improve accessibility or upgrade infrastructure.
Sioux Lookout is getting $51,219, while Dryden is welcoming $42,005.
Machin is receiving $8,984.
In total the Ford government is supporting 109 municipalities to the tune of $375 million.
Funding for the Gas Tax program is determined by the number of litres of gasoline sold in the province during the previous year.
Municipalities supporting public transit services in their community receive two cents per litre of provincial gas tax revenue collected.
