Steven Keeash
March 3, 1942 – January 6, 2021
Surrounded by family, our dear husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather Steven Keeash, age 78, succumbed to cancer and passed away peacefully at this home in Dryden, Ontario at 2:23 pm.
The late Steven Keeash is survived by his wife Caroline, sons, Clifford (Kerry, Joseph), Eli (Gayle and children Kelli, Ethan, Evan, Emery, Hope, Dewey, ), Zeb (Darlene and children Jermaine and Skye and children) daughters, Veronica (Desiree and children Sierra, Dayna and Aries; Krista and children Tony, Saphyre, Dennis, April and Kristopher), Dorothy (Marlene, Maddux and Mason and grandson Jarome) and Denyce (Micheal and children Jaden, Pheonix, Terron, Makiah, Dalyce, Uriah), granddaughter Nina (Charleigh and Thomas). He also leaves behind his cousin Amos (Elsie) Keeash, and sister-in-laws Maggie (Isaac) Linklater and Marion Keeash. The late Steven Keeash also leaves numerous nephews, nieces, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other extended family members too numerous to mention.
The late Steven Keeash is predeceased by his only brother Josiah Keeash, daughter Samanus Keeash, grandchildren: David Jr Winter and Stephanie Keeash, brother in law Joseph Matawapit sister in laws Annie Wapenisk, son in laws Dennis Fobister, David Winter, step-brothers, Geordie Williams, Mike Williams, James Williams, and Isaac Williams, and other extended family members.
Steven Keeash was an avid sports fan, loved watching hockey, baseball and wrestling, enjoyed scratch tickets and spending time with grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was an active member of Wawatay Radio for many years and loved singing.

A Traditional Funeral Service will be held Saturday January 9, 2021 in the NEF Church in Weagamow Lake with Pastor Jerry Quequish officiating.
